The following OUTSTANDING people are on this track: Ezra Koenig, Kyp Malone, Kevin Drew, David Cross, Yo La Tengo, Andrew W.K, Bob Mould, Tegan and Sara, and, believe it or not…. GZA, who supposedly recorded over an hour of material (only a minute of which was usable).
‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ is available from iTunes NOW, and will be released as a 7? single with an unreleased F*cked Up song on the b-side in February 2010. All proceeds will go to benefit three organizations in Canada working to bring an end to the epidemic of missing and murdered native women.
The three groups that will receive 100% of the proceeds from sales of this song are Justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (Montreal), DTES Power of Women Group (Vancouver) and Sisters in Spirit (Ottawa).
