ONE LUCKY READER will win a pair of tickets to see Cadillac Sky LIVE at the famous Bluegrass Underground Cumberland Caverns, 333 feet underground in the caves of McMinnville, TN!!!
Not that many bands get the honor to play this venue often, so it will definitely be an amazing show to check out (if you win or not).

As we reported last month, Nashville’s Cadillac Sky are wrapping up their next album ‘Letters in the Deep’ with The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, who is producing… The record won’t be out until June 8th, so this will be a great chance to sample the new album LIVE.

Black Keys Album News & Dan Auerbach Produces Cadillac Sky

Not including side projects, it has been 2 years since we’ve heard from The Black Keys (since the Danger Mouse produced ‘Attack & Release’ to be exact)…Their new album will be out May 18th and it called ‘Brothers’ (see the cover art below). Most of this 15-track album was produced by the Keys’ Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney themselves at Alabama’s Muscle Shoals Sound Studios.

And on top of that, Keys’ Auerbach is wrapping up producing the next album by the Nashville-based Cadillac Sky on their forthcoming album ‘Letters in the Deep.’ Recorded in Auerbach’s Ohio studio, Akron Analog, the album won’t be ready until June 8th… but Cadillac Sky are offering a FREE download of the song ‘Hangman’ to give us a sample of what they are currently working on (for the cost of an email address). We recently had the privilege to see The David Mayfield Parade at Rhythm & Brews last week and got to celebrate David’s birthday at the end of the show with a few cocktails… If you haven’t heard of David Mayfield or his new band The David Mayfield Parade, you surely HAVE heard of David Mayfield…. here’s why:

• David Mayfield, is a Grammy-nominated musician and producer who has previously performed with:
– Cadillac Sky
– The Avett Brothers
– Jessica Lea Mayfield (his sister)

David’s songwriting abilities along with his many musical talents have evolved into what is now known as the David Mayfield Parade. This highly charged ensemble has brought the true roots of early rock-n-roll and singer/ songwriter-country music back… BUT of course, David Mayfield has added a little flair to make it his own. The live performance is an explosion of Carl Perkins meets bluegrass hoedown….forcing the audience to enjoy every second of it.
